In a move to create a more convenient and cost effective event for both visitors and exhibitors, Fair Events has added Sydney September Retail Quarter to its portfolio.
As announced last week, previous organiser Reed Gift Fairs decided to sell the fair [to Fair Events] so it could focus on its remaining three events.
Fair Events is 100 per cent committed to building on the event and will embark on a major relaunch which includes the new name Spring Gift & Lifestyle to be in line with their Queensland Gift & Lifestyle fair.
“As a family business, we are heavily involved in the daily running of our own business, so we understand the challenges faced by exhibitors and visitors alike,” says Fair Events managing director, Gary Fitz-Roy.
“Our personal investment sets us apart and is coupled with our commitment and desire to create the next perfect moment for our clients. Our role is to create an ecosystem for the whole industry, which comes together for different reasons whether it be marketing, communication, networking or sales. We know all companies have a target and our role is to help them deliver on that KPI.”
Spring Gift & Lifestyle will be co-located with the International Jewellery & Watch Fair at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney in an effort to better service time poor retailers and in particular country retailers who carry both jewellery and gift lines.
“Visitors will no longer need to choose which show to attend if travelling or facing time constraints―it’s now convenient and easy to visit both of these events efficiently,” adds Fitz-Roy.
“We understand the ever-increasing importance and effectiveness of face-to-face contact and the 2020 Spring Gift & Lifestyle Fair will run next door to the International Jewellery & Watch Fair, it’s two shows in one and a win for all.”
He adds there will be changes, but those changes were exciting and Fair Events looks forward to meeting the ever-evolving needs of retailers and focus on creating wow moments at all of their events.
Spring Gift & Lifestyle is held from 12 to 15 September 2020, the International Jewellery & Watch Fair runs from 12 to 14 September 2020.
