The Inspired Home Show reduced from 4 to 3 days
While the Chicago-based event will go ahead in March, some changes have been made to ensure a safe environment for both exhibitors and attendees.
Originally planned from 5 to 8 March 2022, the trade fair will now take place from 5 to 7 March, shortening the show by one day.
To eliminate the last day of the show is an added safety precaution, according to the IHA board of directors, who made the decision early January 2022.
“The Inspired Home Show is a critical event for the home + housewares industry as it is the single best method for product discovery and networking,” president and CEO, Derek Miller, recently stated.
“We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from both the supplier and retail communities―both of which have communicated that the show is a lynchpin in their sales and marketing strategy that has been sorely missed for the last two years and needs to return as soon as possible.
“Please rest assured that IHA is putting the health and safety of our industry first and foremost while also recognising that there are real opportunities that are best met during an in-person event including new product discovery, supplier diversification and overall relationship building.”
Indeed, other safety-related policies and protocols include all exhibitors and attendees will be required to demonstrate proof of vaccination or produce a negative Covid-19 test that has been administered in the previous 72 hours before attending the show.
There will also be an indoor mask mandate and proof of vaccination is required for certain events held during the show. Rapid antigen and PCR testing will be available onsite at The Inspired Home Show so that international visitors can test in advance of returning to their home country.
