The second edition of the China Commodity Fair Australia (CCFA) opens its doors at the ICC Sydney this Thursday 25 September 2025, running for three days through to Saturday 27 September 2025.
Standing as the largest specialised exhibition for Chinese consumer products in Australia, this year’s event spans over 5,000 square metres and features nearly 200 enterprises from Chinese provinces and cities including Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, Shanghai, Hunan, Fujian, Chongqing, Guangdong, Jilin, Tibet and Anhui.
On the first morning of the fair (25 September) there will be an opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of the expo where Xiao Qian, Ambassador of Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Australia, will deliver a congratulatory message for the event.

CCFA’s core products encompass housewares, household appliances and consumer electronics, gardening supplies, outdoor sports equipment, gifts and stationery, and baby products.
Creative ceramic home decorations and curated gifts from Liling (Hunan) and Dehua (Fujian) merges classical craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, rising as stars in the housewares sector.
Meanwhile, iconic pieces such as Zhejiang’s Longquan swords, intricate Tibetan thangka scrolls and luxurious yak wool textiles representing intangible cultural heritage and artisanal tradition are artfully displayed, inviting attendees to savour the allure of Eastern culture.

Smart technology and sustainability stand out as twin pillars of this year’s expo. ‘Made-in-China’ smart products including AI mattresses, intelligent luggage and solar-powered garden lights demonstrate how cutting-edge innovation streamlines everyday life.
Green alternatives like biodegradable bamboo tableware, compostable paper goods and recycled fabric bags align with Australian consumers’ growing demand for sustainable solutions.
Crucially, numerous origin manufacturers with extensive OEM/ODM experience are present. Backed by their proven expertise in serving top-tier global brands across retail, consumer electronics and home goods, these suppliers deliver holistic, end-to-end partnership solutions for Australian buyers from initial design to final production.

To drive targeted economic and trade partnerships between China and Australia, the expo hosts parallel events including the China (Fujian)-Australia Economic Cooperation Forum and the China (Chongqing)-Australia (Sydney) Business Matchmaking Conference. These sessions bring together companies from both sides to explore collaboration opportunities in priority sectors, creating a platform for precise B2B engagement.
Serving as a vital bridge for China-Australia economic cooperation, the expo leverages opportunities presented by the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement to further open pathways for premium Chinese consumer goods into the Australian market. Data reveals that China remains Australia’s top trading partner, with bilateral trade reaching $211.3 billion in 2024.
Chinese-made products have become deeply integrated into everyday life across Australia. This platform not only empowers Chinese businesses to engage in the southern hemisphere market but also allows Australian consumers direct access to high-value, affordable Chinese goods.
