Koh Living marks a decade in business
Wholesaler Koh Living has gone from an idea dreamed up by two friends in a Bangkok café to a successful business marking its 10 year anniversary this month.
Known for its metallic teardrop candle holders, the company says it’s hard to believe how fast the years have gone.
“What keeps us excited is looking for and developing the highest quality products that our customers will absolutely love,” says Tui Cordemans, Koh Living sales and marketing manager and director. “Keeping our eye on that goal has kept us going through the challenges and excitement that comes with running a small business, so reaching the 10 year mark already has taken us by surprise. Although they do say that time flies when you’re having fun.”
Koh Living’s highlights from the past decade include signing up its first wholesale customers, landing its first chain store Australian Geographic, getting a custom built trade fair stand and the launch of the first metal teardrop products.
“At Koh Living our mission is to provide breathtaking products with friendly and approachable service. We promise to continue to travel the world for inspiration to find and create amazing products that our customers love. The August 2014 Gift Fair is going to be our biggest event to date for Koh Living, with more product releases than ever before, and a bonus surprise too.”
While the team behind Koh Living haven’t had time to celebrate yet they have given customers a present with a 10 per cent off purchase order and $10 flat rate freight charge in honour of each year of business.
