South Australia based wholesaler Villa Mondo has added a new candle collection to its portfolio following the collaboration between Chesapeake Bay Candle and The New York Botanical Garden.
Villa Mondo discovered Chesapeake Bay Candle as it is the parent company of Alassis Candles and already stocks candles from the US based company.
“Our current range of Chesapeake Bay Candles is amazing and when we saw that they were releasing a collaboration range, we jumped at the chance to bring them to Australian stores,” says general manager Wendy Fry.
“The New York Botanical Garden is globally iconic, and paired with Chesapeake Bay Candle who make incredibly layered fragrance creates a fantastic range which is stunningly beautiful.
“Every piece is exquisite, and having arrived to Australian shores just in time for Christmas makes them an amazing gift idea this holiday season,” she says.
Fragrances include Sweet Azalea, Verbena Basil, Provence Rose, Water Blossom and Peony Bouquet. Each 2-wick candle has a coloured wax encased in glass and is sealed with a gold lid which has been embossed with the New York Botanical Gardens logo.
“It fits in with our Michel Design Works ranges beautifully, as a lot of the designs are floral print and similarly fragranced, but it adds a point of difference to our existing candle ranges as they’re a lot more floral and delicate than our core Alassis ArtGlass and Chesapeake Bay candle lines, while the embossed gold lid on the candle adds a touch of luxury,” Fry adds.
The candles are available now from Villa Mondo and selected stores.
