Manufacturer partners with NBCF for home fragrance range
Australian manufacturer, Pastel Pines International, has partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) to produce a range of home fragrance products.
The collaboration began last year, when a new team member spotted an old diffuser bottle with a ribbon and was reminded of the charity. “Right away we contacted the NBCF and registered our interest in becoming a partner,” explains Pastel Pines sales and marketing manager, Renée Mitchell.
“It was not long before we were talking to NBCF and subsequently Pastel Pines has pledged our financial commitment by developing Vivante Brights Pink Ribbon home fragrance products collaboratively with NBCF.”
The collection includes candles, reed diffusers, room perfume, linen spray, drawer liners and sachets, ceramic warmers and oils, bath salts and massage oils. A countertop display featuring a 30 piece mini Pink Ribbon collection is also available.
A percentage of proceeds from the sale of every Vivante Brights Pink Ribbon product are donated to the foundation, to support research into the prevention and cure of a disease that is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among Australian women.
Mitchell says the partnership is a personal one for the company. “Our story at Pastel Pines is much like so many others across the country, in that we each have someone we know who has been affected by breast cancer,” she explains.
“For the Pastel Pines family we were struck twice, with both our founder and also an integral member of the administration team being survivors of this vicious disease.”
The collection will expand this August, with the launch of decorative fragrance products that will be perfect for Pink Ribbon fundraising events held in October for breast cancer awareness month.
