Joseph Joseph premieres new collection in Australia
In a world first, Joseph Joseph Spring/Summer 19 collection is launching down under, making Australia the first country to see and experience the new range.
Australia is a well-established market for the brand with over 10 years of trading history, says James Gratton, Joseph Joseph senior international business manager, APAC.
“Our brand position is strong, thanks to careful management of the retail environment throughout this period. However, we know that there is plenty more for us to achieve here and we can only do this with greater focus on the market itself. Australia being the first to launch Spring-Summer 19 is a demonstration of our intent going forward.”
Available in Australia from Independence Studios, the latest collection includes modern updates to classic ranges as well as fabulous new additions for the brand. With shrinking household sizes, many items in the new collection focus on space saving convenience that is as stylish as it is practical.
“SS19 encapsulates everything that is great about Joseph Joseph. Whilst there is a freshening of old favourites like Chop2Pot, there is also plenty of new ideas and innovation spanning across a variety of categories within the home.
“The inspiration for our products is always consistent ―solving problems with intelligent design. Our R&D team are constantly identifying problems people face every day in the home whether it be linked to space efficiency, hygiene or ease of use and function.
“From this we strive to design and manufacture products to solve these problems. We ensure the product looks great too but functionality and innovation is key and this is evident across the SS19 collection.”
Gratton believes this collection is one of the strongest launches in some time as the sheer depth of newness is always welcome for retailers who are keen to offer their customers something different.
“There is something for everyone within the collection from purely kitchen, with exciting new products in some of our core categories, to newer categories such as barware and waste management. This will please a wide spectrum of Australia’s retailers who will be searching for a post-Christmas boost in sales.”
Joseph Joseph will debut another full collection mid-year as well as two other mid-season launches.
“The brand is about product and we will continue to bring new ideas and even further develop our expansion into other areas of the home… watch this space.”
Independence Studios is exhibiting at Reed Gift Fair, stand S28, 23-27 February at the ICC Darling Harbour.
