Homewares brand Jones & Co has opened its first retail store in Sydney’s Bondi Beach.
Founder Jennifer Jones says the beachside location was a perfect match for her label’s core principals and its feel good ethos. With pops of yellow and floor-to-ceiling shelves, she says the store is a contemporary take on a gift emporium that celebrates the art of gift giving and showcases the handmade designs Jones & Co has become known for.
“We are focused on delivering a great retail experience for our customer instore and we can’t wait to embark on this next journey with our first retail space,” she says.
“It has been my dream in the last 10 years of running the wholesale business to be able to showcase our brand under one roof… We are pinching ourselves with finally being able to see our vision become a reality.”
The store will offer a vast collection of Jones and Co’s ceramics as well as bone china, pots and plants, table and servingware, jewellery, toys and soft furnishings. Gift wrapping is available and customers will also receive a free handmade greeting card with each purchase.
“The lion’s share of our collection is perfect for gift giving, and being time poor new working parents with an active social life, we know the demands of finding the perfect gift for someone,” says Jones.
“We wanted to be the destination where customers know they will find the perfect gift. You can park outside and nip in on your way to a party and bring something beautifully wrapped with a handmade card.”
