IKEA launches livestream shopping service
IKEA recently introduced IKEA Live to Australian consumers to inspire them on how to become home furnishing experts at home.
Research shows that 83 per cent of Australians experience frustrations when it comes to their home and only 65 per cent feel their home reflects who they are.
For IKEA, the new initiative is part of an ambition to engage with customers in a new way.
“We are always looking for new ways in which we can engage with and inspire our customers,” Steve Veale, commercial activity and events leader for IKEA Australia, says.
“We are so excited to be launching IKEA Live to help Australians reimagine their space.”
Hosted by renovation and design guru Barry Du Bois, the livestream will offer a unique opportunity for Australians to engage with IKEA interior design experts and real people to gain an understanding of how they can reimagine their own space. The first of the series was streamed last Sunday and focused on how to design an affordable, dream kitchen.
“The livestreams provide a platform for our IKEA design experts to share their knowledge with customers across Australia, while helping us better understand real challenges Australians face at home.
“Through initiatives like IKEA Live, IKEA is exploring more ways to help Australians overcome their frustrations and unleash the potential of their homes.”
