AGHA acquires warehouse clearance sale
The Australian Gift and Homewares Association (AGHA) recently acquired Australia’s largest gift and homewares warehouse clearance sale, Importers Warehouse Sellout.
The warehouse sale has been running for 25 consecutive years, and this year will offer AGHA wholesale and retail members a chance to exhibit. The sale will run over four full days from 10 to 13 December at the Grand Pavilion, Rosehill Gardens.
The early December date has been specifically chosen to help exhibitors make the most of Christmas shopping and clear their warehouse ready for the New Year.
“As the industry association, we want to help our members to clear excess warehouse stock, making space for them to develop and supply new ranges each season,” says AGHA president Richard Hogan. “By having our members at the one place and at the one time, right before Christmas, we think this event could really be a hit.
“We feel this clearance event could be a great asset to our members and the AGHA plans to roll out the Importers Warehouse Sellout across Australia in coming years.”
After taking on the event, AGHA has made numerous changes including relocation to a new venue, free parking, allowing each exhibitor to manage their own sales transaction, no sales commission, free parcel pickup and shopping trolleys available for buyers.
Full details including floor plans and cost will be available shortly. In the meantime you can register your interest here: https://agha.eventsair.com/iws-2015/iws2015/Site/Register
