As we celebrate 40 years of Australian Giftguide magazine we take a look back at some of the more memorable products to have graced our pages.
Along with the Hills Hoist and dual flush toilets, the Neat Ideas Pineapple Peeler from Donaldson Enterprises was also an Australian invention. The two blades could be adjusted to suit the size of the pineapple, and it could core and skin the fruit in a single movement. It wholesaled for $3.40.
