Aromababy scoops another award
Natural skincare brand Aromababy’s Barrier Balm has been voted best nappy cream in Australia as part of the Tell Me Baby awards program.
A uniquely formulated, all-natural product with added calendula and evening primrose oil, Barrier Balm works to nourish and protect skin and has a multitude of uses from lip balm, dry, red skin relief to of course, nappy care, says Aromababy founder, Catherine Cervasio.
“We are so thrilled to win this award,” she enthuses. “Our skincare was formulated for efficacy so to have parents share their experiences and score our products so highly means the world to us. What I love most about winning this award is the reviews are from real parents.”
Aromababy was launched in 1994 and is the brainchild of Cervasio, who is a natural skincare specialist and mother of two. It was the first brand of its kind to combine the use of natural and organic ingredients with research.
“We have been providing gentle, cruelty-free skincare, gifts and accessories in Australia for over 25 years. I initially launched Aromababy to ensure both parents had access to ‘choice’ in the type of products available for babies, especially critical for those with a family history of sensitive skin or eczema.”
In addition to baby products, Aromababy offers natural hand sanitiser made with locally grown, vegan ethanol, bespoke stylish fabric masks made using natural and organic cottons, along with a bespoke offering of mother to be/new mum items.
“These are ideal for anyone who loves a little pampering—think aromatherapy candles and products to treat loved ones and importantly, oneself including soothing bath salts and exfoliating body scrub,” she says of the bespoke gifts.
Over the years Aromababy has been gifted to the likes of Princess Mary, John Travolta and Prince Harry and boasts numerous celebrity clients. However, it’s the ability to reach everyday parents and to make even the smallest difference to those seeking sensitive skin relief options that matters most, says Cervasio.
She is also passionate about supporting disadvantaged mothers and women in distress. “We have supported countless women’s shelters, health centres and community projects over the years.”
Aromababy is still run as a family business out of Melbourne and continues to be 100 per cent female founder owned.
