Aussie design show goes virtual with Denfair 2.0
As retailers are adjusting to a new normal and moving their focus to online, events companies are adapting their offerings to include a virtual experience.
With limitations on the amount of people in one place easing, it seems unlikely major events such as trade fairs are getting the go ahead any time soon. While some have moved their event to a later date this year, others have opted for a virtual experience instead.
Australian architecture and design show, Denfair, is introducing Denfair 2.0, a virtual design event scheduled for July.
“’The world has changed and so have we’ has become our mantra and we are creating an inspiring experience for what has become the ‘new normal’ to promote the talent of designers and their work beyond physical reach,” the organisers state on their website.
“Denfair’s new virtual experience will give you an opportunity to explore the new collections from our participating brands, discover the latest design related video content and learn from the masterclasses we compiled for you.
“Over the past six years, we have become the Australian design industry’s most dynamic hub for business connection and collaboration, and we are set now to expand beyond the limitations of physical reach this coming July.”
The program will offer 3D realistic product tours, brands video presentations, panel discussions, one on one interviews, virtual front centre, masterclasses, design library, virtual collaborations, and much more.
Participating brands include Made by Pen, Robert Gordon Australia, Krost Business Furniture, Charles Parson Interiors, Ambience Lighting, Studio Elwood and Arko Furniture.
The virtual event runs from 20 to 26 July 2020.
