Marcus & Marcus wins design award for feeding bottle series

Baby brand Marcus & Marcus has scooped an iF Design Award for its silicone angled feeding bottle series in product design in the baby and kids category.

Known for its innovative products, Marcus & Marcus is the brainchild of parents Candy and Stanley Leung, who launched the kids product label in 2015 in Hong Kong.

“We are very proud and honoured to receive the iF Design Award as this is the most prestigious industrial design award, especially for consumer products,” says CEO Stanley.

“We will continue to invest in our R&D to bring more innovative, functional and sustainable products to the market.” 

The silicone angled feeding bottle series gives mothers an easy and convenient way to express breastmilk as they can store and feed a baby with the same silicone bottle.

“Sometimes mothers face pressure and difficulties when it comes to breastfeeding their baby. At Marcus & Marcus, we want to encourage and empower mothers on their breastfeeding journey.

“Our bottle is designed with an angle for an ergonomic grip and promotes upright feeding, while the side of the bottle features volumetric markings to show liquid volume without having to unlatch,” he says.

“We believe in creating sustainable products that are ‘made with love to grow with you’. Pumping, storing and feeding from the same bottle creates less waste and burden on the environment.”

The bottle series won over the 132-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, with its unique smart design and benefits of the products. The competition was fierce with almost 11,000 entries submitted from 57 countries in hopes of receiving the ‘seal of quality’, he adds.
