Care & Share Products unveils new Japanese inspired range
care & share products will use the february gift fair in sydney to launch its new collection – the signature range – from its empowering the poor brand.
designed by local joanne sterland, the products, which are items we use daily, are intended to be regular reminders of values such as friendship, love, beauty and stillness.
“each design takes core elements from japanese culture, applying it to products that can be carried with us throughout the day as beautiful reminders of values that can be applied to our lives in unique ways,” says lynda hanania, advertising manager at care & share products.
“friendship, love, beauty and stillness are often ideals we would like more of for ourselves and those around us, and with these gorgeous visual reminders we can carry a bit of that with us wherever we are. this is the heart of care & share products to provide inspirational gifts to the australian and new zealand markets.”
the range includes calico bags, cushions, journals and accessory bags in designs such as love, enjoy life cherry blossom range and natural beauty, and the peacock which is expected to be a best-seller.
“a peacock, in all its stunning beauty inspired this lovely range. possessor of some of the most admired human characteristics it is a symbol of integrity and the beauty we can achieve when we endeavour to show our true colours.”
creating the new range gave care & share products the chance to work with fair trade organisations to help communities in developing countries.
“in partnership with a number of fair trade organisations, [artist] joanne sterland has fostered their strengths and skill set in a whole new way, bringing new opportunities and strengths as they stand strongly in the general gift market with their unique skill set and talents. these ethical and fair trade products reach their mark in design, price and quality,” explains hanania.
the signature range is likely to draw much interest from retailers at the february fair based on past success with similar products.
“in previous years the calico bags, cushions, journals and accessory bags have had a successful sell through. with this exciting new range to present the retailers will be sure to want this in their stores, as it will be a beautiful collection that merchandises well with a story to tell that is inspirational, making for that perfect gift,” she adds.
