Colour inspires new tableware collection
bright colours are arguably this year’s biggest fashion and decor trend and salt&pepper has taken them to a new level with the launch of its studio range.
salt&pepper says the creation of this collection takes the colour trend from interior decorator pieces to the dinner table.
“colour, individualism and entertaining are key themes carried throughout our spring and summer collection and the creation of the studio collection reflects our tag line – ‘fashion for your home’,” says sissi stasios, creative director.
“we want consumers to have fun with entertaining and experiment with colour blocking in the home, as they would with their clothing. each piece is sold individually so the customer has the opportunity to create their own colour story, or simply enhance a white dinner set they may already have at home with a pop of colour.”
customers can choose from dinner plates, salad bowls, salt and pepper shakers, noodle bowls, side plates, dip dishes, appetiser plates, coffee mugs, and tea cups and saucers in a variety of colours.
the new range has provided great inspiration to retailers who have been using the products as part of eye-catching colourful window displays.
stasios says studio is a great collection for the summer season and customers are enjoying adding a splash of colour to their traditional dinnerware.
“we believe this product is suited to someone who loves fashion and creating a dinner table that they want to impress their guests with – someone who likes to have fun and experiment with colour and varying styles.
“we also think the range is suited to people who are seeking an alternative, more fun everyday range, rather than using the traditional white dinner set,” she adds.
new colours including bright orange and pastels will be added next season.
