Did you see Urban Road’s Element collection at Life Instyle?
Interior fashion art brand Urban Road has again partnered with designer Shaynna Blaze for its latest collection, Element, which was introduced at last week’s Life Instyle in Melbourne.
The company was founded in 2010 by self-taught artist and illustrator Suzie Atkin, who dreamed of bringing original canvas art prints into the homes of savvy art lovers worldwide.
Known for its extensive range of unique designs and patterns to blend with any home décor, Urban Road launches two seasonal collections each year as well as special release collaborations with other artists and designers such as Blaze.
For the new Element range, Atkins says she revisited her urban roots, travelled to the tropics and went tribal.
“Our customers are asking for wall art featuring so many cool topics, in Element I wanted to give them the most relevant pieces possible, from the inner city to tropical treetops and powerful, tribal prints and portraits.”
The collaboration with Blaze features three distinct ranges: Beyond the Cracks, Flight, and Inner Child, showcasing Atkin and Blaze’s complimentary creative skills in the cushion collection and artwork.
“Launching the new collection at Life Instyle reiterates that Urban Road is vanguard as ever,” explains sales and operations director, Mishelle Morgan. “Our continuing creative partnerships with Gigja Einarsdottir, Erin Petson and Little Branch give our customers the variety that they love and Element is a new, superb body of work that will enable them to create entirely new spaces.”
Element is one of Urban Road’s most diverse releases to date, where minimalism fuses with the surreal and whimsical. The collection melds Urban Road’s trademark tropical prints and abstracts with a beautiful photographic series exploring stark parallels and contrasts, Morgan adds.
