Dreamfarm secures UK supplier
Australian design company Dreamfarm has been picked up by Forma House for distribution in the UK.
The renowned wholesaler discovered Dreamfarm on a design blog shortly after it won a Red Dot Design Award for the Tapi.
Forma House chased the company for years until it was ready to break into the UK market. Dreamfarm founder and managing director, Alex Gransbury, says it was the wholesaler’s drive and enthusiasm for his brand that won him over.
“When it came time to find a UK distributor, we knew if anyone was going to be able to represent our brand and get us into the right retail stores, it was exactly this sort of attitude that would make that possible,” he says. “If we’ve learned anything over the last 10 years, it’s that persistence pays off.
“It’s incredibly exiting to know that we now have a sales force on the ground in the UK that is showing retailers what we do. There’s no point making the world’s cleverest products if people don’t know about them and now we have a brilliant bunch of people spreading the word and making it easy for UK retailers to get their hands on Dreamfarm.”
The relationship seems to have paid off with retailers already reordering within weeks of stocking Dreamfarm.
“The British customer is no fool, yet, like most of us, they have been hit with every gimmick known to man. The British customer appreciates high-end design and demands quality. Dreamfarm shares these values and gives customers products that were created for a reason, so it should be a match made in heaven.”
Dreamfarm’s complete range is available in the UK exclusively from Forma House.
