Eco-conscious brand opens nine stores down under
Alex and Ani is taking its jewellery direct to the Australian public with the opening of nine stores before Christmas this year.
All stores will be located in Westfield shopping centres around the country, with the first opening in Sydney’s Lower North Shore suburb Chatswood.
Karin Adcock, CEO and founder of House of Brands which introduced the brand to Australia, says the incredible feedback motivated her to introduce Alex and Ani owned and branded stores.
“We have received an overwhelmingly positive response to Alex and Ani, which echoes the brand’s popularity in the US, where it is the fastest growing jewellery and lifestyle brand,” enthuses Adcock.
“The brand’s popularity has encouraged us to take the products to more centres with dedicated, branded Alex and Ani studios. We start in Chatswood and will open in eight other metropolitan centres in time for Christmas, including our first concept store in Melbourne’s Fountain Gate shopping centre.”
Alex and Ani is hugely popular in the US as it echoes the contemporary spiritual movement, where more of us are searching for meaning, inspiration and a real connection with others. The Path of Symbols collection is a founding pillar of the range which is ethically made in the US with recycled materials.
All collections will continue to be available online and at over 110 jewellery retailers across Australia and New Zealand.
