Following a successful launch in 2023, EMU Australia has once again partnered with Barbie for an autumn/winter 2024 collaboration.
The global footwear brand has taken its most iconic and fashionable slippers and boots to transform them with the iconic Barbie colour for the new collection.
“Conceptualised through a mutual admiration for each other’s brands, EMU Australia is thrilled to collaborate with such an iconic property,” enthuses Rebecca Fett, global marketing manager at EMU Australia.
“We were excited to connect the beautiful southern coast of Australia to the iconic Barbie to create stylish comfortable footwear for today’s flexible indoor and outdoor living.”
The range will be infused with Barbie style and the brand’s signature shade of pink. Covering both women and kids, this collab gives the opportunity for everyone to match with the mini in their lives.
“Since even before the launch of the Barbie movie the world has been reminded of how iconic Barbie is as a fashion and style influencer. Barbie is a champion for female empowerment, so as a female focused brand we are very excited to align with such an icon,” she adds.
“These high voltage Barbie x EMU Australia Stinger Micro and Mayberry slippers in the iconic Barbie pink feel like an endorphin shot: get you in the vibe, make you feel good and bring a smile to your face.
“Drawing from the women’s collection we also see a fun yet practical Barbie Wallaby Mini, crafted for comfort and featuring Australian Merino wool lining in Barbie’s signature pink colour.”
The Barbie x EMU Australia collaboration is set to launch in stores from 15 July 2024.
