Fill your shelves with these three new collections
In time for the busy Christmas season, Villa Mondo has launched three ranges which were introduced to trade at the August gift fair in Melbourne.
Ivy & Quinn is a new home fragrance exclusive to the wholesaler. With its clean lines, sophisticated fragrances and beautifully packaged candles and diffusers, the line is different from the other items in the company’s portfolio, which was deliberate, says general manager Wendy Fry.
“We have existing ranges of candles and diffusers, which our customers still love,” she says. “They love the bright colours and quirky fragrances, but we also get asked for ranges that are crisper in their presentation.”
Il Cosa is also new to Villa Mondo and specialises in barware as gifts. No stranger to barware, Fry says Il Cosa is an extension of Villa Mondo’s history.
“We started as a wholesaler of wine accessories and continue to be a large provider of wine and bar accessories to retailers and wineries across Australia.”
The range includes whisky cubes, gin pearls and chiller sticks for beer and wine. Villa Mondo has carried whisky stones for a long time, and still does, with the granite soap stones the traditional chiller, but Fry says that the stainless steel is an updated version to fit the with the rest of the range.
“There are plenty of products in the market―including our own―that cool drinks from the outside in, however, the beer chilling sticks and wine chilling sticks cool the drink from the inside out,” she explains.
Bella Tavalo has created quite a buzz since its debut to the Australian market, with a strong focus on tabletop items that mix eclectic materials and styles with contemporary colour palettes.
The homewares brand focuses heavily on texture, with faux leather and marble placemats, but also with melamine that has the same look and feel as ceramic.
“Bella Tavolo is great at creating pieces which have a point of difference and combine quirky and elegant at the same time.
“We received such incredible feedback on the melamine that we’re already looking at growing the range internationally.”
All three collections are available this month.
