Happy Socks relaunches in Australia and New Zealand
After being out of the market for more than 18 months, Happy Socks has found its way back to our shores with Until appointed the exclusive distributor for Australia and New Zealand.
The brand was started in 2008 by two friends who wanted to spread happiness by turning an everyday essential into a high-quality colourful design piece. Designed in Stockholm, Happy Socks is available in more than 95 countries.
Until’s CEO, Tim Gordon, says the brand is a strong addition to the company’s portfolio of gift and design brands.
“Happy Socks is a brand that we have always admired for their original designs and how they defined a whole new category of giftable socks,” he enthuses.
“It is such a well-recognised brand which fits well with the aesthetic of many of the other brands that we distribute.”
The new collection is called Better Together and was inspired by the recent pandemic and the challenges that came with it. It will launch in Australia in late October ready for the festive season with the Happy Socks Christmas trees and gift boxes. The selection of under the tree treats includes bauble shaped boxes, an advent calendar with 24 reasons to celebrate and classic gift boxes for both adults and kids.
“As soon as we signed the contract, we began previewing the new F/W 21 collection so we could go into production in time for Christmas. It has been a hectic few months but the response has been phenomenal with many customers delighted that they can now buy the brand through us,” adds Gordon.
Each season Happy Socks collaborates with inspirational brands and artists to create a unique collection that celebrates creativity, optimism, self-expression and fun. This season Happy Socks has collaborated with Disney to create iconic designs featuring Mickey and his friends for both adults and kids.
