Heaven in Earth to introduce new range at Life Instyle
Garden and homewares supplier Heaven in Earth is launching its latest Cirrus collection at the upcoming Life Instyle fair, adding to its already extensive portfolio.
A love of porcelain has led to this homewares range, says creative director and owner, Jocelyn Van Hoven, combined with a passion for the outdoors.
“I have a passionate love of ceramics and porcelain and with my husband’s crazy love of weather it makes perfect sense,” she explains. “Once you see the full range you’ll understand why it is called the Cirrus collection.”
Each piece in the collection, which includes candles, bakeware, butter dishes and mugs, is unique. A mixture of two clays, sculptured by heat, reveals a marble effect. The exterior is matt (except for the mugs) for a natural look which contrasts with the interior gloss glaze (for food contact).
“So much of this work is handmade and I took such pleasure in visiting the factory, being part of the whole process,” Van Hoven adds.
“The unique effect of the marbling marries with all our natural products. The organic feel of the items along with the patterns on each product means you cannot help but touch it all. Our handcrafted slate items make the Cirrus collection zing in contrast.”
She says the range fits in across modern and Swedish style shops as well as the more rustic and laid back themes, but she expects every customer to find a piece that suits their store.
“All Heaven in Earth’s products have a broad appeal. We don’t like to limit the appeal to any type of consumer, and judging by the reaction we have had so far the Cirrus collection appeals to higher end and everyday customers too.”
Alongside the Cirrus collection, Heaven in Earth will also be showcasing new items from brands such as Cornice & Cupboard, Charcoal and Sage, Nutscene and East of India.
“We continue to expand our German brushware range, new colourways in our compost buckets and seed tins as well as new colours from Nutscene twine and even more goodness from East of India, with over 20 new items. Plus our own bamboo cloches are coming in out in three new styles and our hand cut slate coasters are going round.”
