Hunting for George launches new bedlinen range
Homewares brand Hunting for George has released its latest collection for the bedroom called Classics, which is all about refined essentials and simplicity.
Co-founder and designer, Lucy Glade-Wright, says she loves the simplicity of the classic designs, as they will stand the test of time.
“We focused on establishing core base colours and worked with minimalist patterns that can be continually referenced and added to,” she says.
The new bedlinen are 100 per cent pure cotton sateen and all sheets are quality tested and free from harmful chemicals.
“Just ask our customers how soft our sheets are. We receive incredible feedback on the quality of our cotton and we pride ourselves on the high quality and detail of all our bed linen.”
The campaign behind this collection is more minimalistic then what the Melbourne-based design brand and self-proclaimed ‘passionate ambassador for a good night’s sleep’ has created in the past.
“We are more engaged than ever before: watching, listening, liking, commenting, sharing. We’re overtly conscious and always on. The direction around this campaign was motivated through my desire to switch off so I chose to create the bedroom that I most needed in my life. A space that encouraged calm and a place where I could reset from the busy day, switch off and be present.”
The range includes the Eskimo Shuffle quilt cover set featuring muted, warm grey tones with subtle white detailing. Designed to partner with either the Eskimo sheet set, that features a matching charcoal pattern over a bright white cotton or the Smoke sheet set, a barely there grey that will go with everything. A new release of the much loved Mr & Mrs Smith quilt cover set is also back by popular demand. This reversible design features washed out navy and pink together with white piping detail.
The new collection is available now.
