Interior design trends inspire new Woodwick candle range
To be launched by Splosh at the Sydney Home & Giving Fair, the Geometric Collection from Woodwick will incorporate patterns and water colour prints.
The range is made up of six scents including sweet rhubarb, vanilla macaroon and green lotus. Jars are patterned with a glass lid.
“The patterns on the jars are very now and in sync with current wallpaper and decorating trends,” says Kim Kendall, Splosh owner. “Both geometric and watercolour prints have been mentioned as top trends for the year.
“The range of colours and fragrances in the Geometric Collection ensures there is something for everyone. Lovers of sweet, fresh, natural, spicy, fruity and modern scents are all catered for in this collection. Woodwick appeals to all ages and we see this range being the same.”
Splosh is expecting a positive response to the new collection because of its look and pricing.
Kendall says candles remain a popular product for consumers as they incorporate more senses than most homewares.
“A premium fragranced candle fills your home and senses with scent while being visually appealing. Woodwick also adds the element of sound with the unique natural wick that replicates the sound of a crackling fire as it burns.”
At the Splosh Home & Giving Fair stand retailers will also find new fragrances in core Woodwick lines as well as a new centrepiece candle.
