denby pottery has appointed lindt trading as the exclusive importer of its products to australia.
the victorian based wholesaler will distribute the brand’s key products as well as new designs for 2012, which includes an extension to the imperial blue range and new additions to the monsoon home by denby collection.
“we are delighted to announce this partnership between denby and lindt and have confidence in our chosen route to market from january 2012,” says damien jones, denby pottery international sales manager.
“lindt has ideal experience in the distribution of leading tableware brands and we believe the denby brand is a strong addition to the lindt portfolio.”
lindt was chosen because of its history distributing burleigh uk, which denby recently purchased as it wanted to be the one distributor in australia for both brands.
spokesperson stephen ray says the partnership is the perfect fit for lindt.
“the appointment adds to the quality english brands that lindt distributes and ensures economies of scale between both brands will be achieved,” he says. “uk designed and made products are lindt’s specialty.”
