McPherson’s wins distribution agreement for Furi Brands
leading kitchen cutlery and sharpening products manufacturer furi brands (furi) has appointed mcpherson’s consumer products to be its exclusive australian and new zealand distributor and marketer.
founded in australia in july 1996 by mechanical engineer mark henry, furi’s products are specifically designed for professional and serious amateur chefs.
innovations have included the furi reverse wedge handle shape, developed to resist hand slip toward the blade and to reduce hand fatigue; the coppertail which allows cooks to rebalance their knives as the blade is sharpened; and diamond fingers, tech edge and ozitech sharpening systems that eliminate the human errors in sharpening and honing and ensure accuracy.
