My Baby Warehouse NSW enters voluntary administration
Baby goods retailer My Baby Warehouse, which operates 11 stores across New South Wales, has gone into voluntary administration.
Cor Cordis has been appointed to review Baby Zone (Aust) and BHLS, which both trade as My Baby Warehouse and employ about 65 staff.
Administrator Robert Kite told the Daily Telegraph the outlets will continue to trade while the company is being assessed but some aspects of the business will be affected.
“Until our review of the business is finalised we will not be in a position to honour any layby orders, gift cards or refunds,” he says.
My Baby Warehouse sells a range of baby products including bedding, cots, prams and toys, and is not the only retailer in its category to be placed in voluntary administration this year. It follows in the footsteps of customised pram business, Rozibaby, which went into liquidation in October and PramWarehouse, placed involuntary administration in February.
The voluntary administration does not include My Baby Warehouse stores in Bankstown and Campbelltown in NSW or the My Baby Warehouse stores in all other states and territories.
