NY NOW brings new experience with Transcend Design
NY NOW has partnered with renowned designer Robin Baron as the brand ambassador for the winter market.
As part of the collaboration, Baron and her team will design the Transcend area at the fair, working with key exhibitors and leading brands to source and compose products into a cohesive and inspirational space.
“I am thrilled to be partnering with NY NOW,” she enthuses. “I am excited to be working with them to elevate the show to become the nation’s premier design trade show by partnering with high-profile designers and luxury brands to bring buyers the best of the best.
“We will also have many exciting talks and panels about relevant and current subjects. If you haven’t been to NY NOW in a while, come to the winter market and plan to be impressed.”
Kevin O’Keefe, EVP, NY NOW adds that the partnership shows the fair’s commitment to really elevate the market experience.
“The entire Transcend experience―from the exhibits to inspirational designed spaces to ground breaking talks―all provide a learning experience for retailers and designers to see what success looks like and understand how outstanding industry icons like Robin, achieved it.”
Transcend at NY NOW will demonstrate what inspirational experience looks like and will be filled with products from companies such as Missoni Home, Selamat and Atelier Swarovski.
“I am delighted to present the Transcend Experience with four unique installations, one designed by Vanessa Deleon, another by Francis Toumbakaris, and a third one by select ASID NY Metro designers Kim Radovich, Bjorn Bjornsson, Charles Pavarini III, and Elissa Grayer,” adds Baron.
“The fourth Transcend Experience will be designed by me and my design team. We hope to inspire your creativity and excite you about the show.”
Additionally, Dynamic Transcend Talks, held on the market floor, will feature free sessions dedicated to the business of interior design and the inspirational experience on the retail level; how retailers are being successful by combining retail and experience―retailtainment.
NY NOW is held from 3 to 6 February 2019 at the Javits Centre in New York.
