Online Retailer returns in July
Online Retailer Conference & Expo will once again be held at the ICC in Sydney with a focus on the future of tech in retail.
Running from 19 to 20 July 2023, this year’s conference will host a mix of local and international speakers discussing topics such as AI, sustainability and circularity, and the rise of marketplaces in retail.
“We’re so excited to return this year and explore the fascinating topic of innovative, cutting-edge new technologies and the role they will play in the future of online retail,” Online Retailer event director, Matt Smith, says.
“We have developed an exceptional roster of talent to speak about some of the most hot-button issues in the industry.”
Indeed, speakers include Matheus Stancati, co-founder, Serendipity Furniture and Sunken Blimp, Lydia Bertini, head of customer and people at Miss Amara and Nick Blatt, head of ecommerce & digital customer experience from Chemist Warehouse.
Conference topics will cover customer retention post-pandemic, the rise of marketplaces and driving resilience through technology and innovation.
“No matter which stage of business each retailer is at and the level of their own individual career, we are certain there is a panel discussion, workshop or networking opportunity of tremendous value to them.”
The coinciding free-to-attend expo will host 140+ exhibitors set to showcase the newest technologies and innovations, while the Australia Post Online Retail Industry Awards (ORIAs) rounds off the event with a bang.
