Set the perfect drinking temperature with Ember mug
The smart home is thriving and especially the US has embraced this technology that will change the way we live and do things forever.
The Ember travel mug, which made its debut in Australia last year, is the perfect accessory for today’s consumer―it combines travel, smart technology and the non-plastic-cups trend, making it a very popular product.
Designed to be used on the go, the Ember travel mug allows you to set your ideal drinking temperature to the precise degree. Ember will maintain that temperature for approximately two hours, so your warm beverage is perfect from the first sip to the last drop, wherever you are.
“We launched the travel mug in Starbucks in 2016 in partnership with Starbucks,” says Jolene Abbott, VP of communications and marketing. “This was our first product.
“You can adjust the temperature by using the Ember app or by rotating the dial at the base of the mug. The Ember app also allows you to remotely set your desired drinking temperature, receive notifications when that temperature is reached, save presets for your favorite drinks, name your mug, view liquid levels and more.”
Designed to be used in your home or at your desk, the Ember ceramic mug allows you to set your precise drinking temperature. Ember will maintain that temperature for approximately one hour, so your hot beverage is perfect from the first sip to the last drop.
“Everyone is different and likes their tea or coffee at different temperatures. Once you set the temperature you don’t have to do it every day, it remembers it. You don’t have to open the app, you don’t have to do anything.
Ember ceramic mug pairs with the Ember app, allowing you to set your desired drinking temperature, receive notifications when that temperature is reached, save presets for your favorite drinks, customise the LED colour, and more.
“Also, if you haven’t picked the mug up for two hours it goes to sleep. There is no need to turn the mug on or off. The mug enters sleep mode when empty and wakes up when it senses movement or liquid.
Due to popular demand, Ember launched a bigger version of the mug at the International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago.
