Design hub Supertrooper Studio has expanded its portfolio with the addition of the Beautiful Day Collection of wall prints, wall pennants and greeting cards.
Suitable for a child’s room or nursery, the range is available in muted pink, mint and grey tones or bright red and blue.
The collection features three illustrations – a shining star, moon and sun – by Swedish designer and Supertrooper Studio founder Linda Fahrlin.
“My son and I used to look out the window at the moon and stars every night before bedtime,” she says. “This really peaceful ending is what inspired the night time theme.”
After showing the collection at Melbourne Life Instyle, Fahrlin was encouraged by the response.
“The Beautiful Day range has been appreciated by our customers,” she says. “At the Life Instyle event this year we saw a great interest in our design and products from retail clients.”
Located in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Fahrlin says Supertrooper Studio is based on the traditional Swedish design values of quality, functionalism and simplicity to create unique, innovative design. It produces a range of gifts and homewares including cushion covers, tea towels and wall art, all with a distinctly Scandinavian edge.
“We do custom design projects for clients and customers, as well as our own range of products.”
These products have been getting recognition throughout the country for their beautiful illustrations and playful feel.
“We have been very honoured to be invited to events at some of Australia’s most prestigious institutions like the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, Craft ACT in Canberra and the NSW State Library,” says Fahrlin.
