Toymate opens two new concept stores in Victoria
Aussie retailer Toymate recently launched two new toy superstores in Victoria as part of its expansion plans.
The Watergardens and Nunawading stores mark the second and third stores to open in the state, with 23 stores across Australia, reflecting Toymate’s commitment to growing its store network across the country.
Founder and CEO Danny Bloom says that the opening of the Victorian stores feels like the rainbow after the storm.
“As a retail outlet we have missed being able to see the faces of our happy visitors,” he says.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring two more of our stores to Victoria and equally thrilled to be able to greet customers in person. We know the importance of toys and play to a child’s life and it brings us so much joy to see their excitement when they find the product they are looking for.”
The two toy stores are uniquely designed to be colourful, magical and experiential to give the ultimate toy shopping experience that both adults and children will enjoy. The customer experience is at the heart of all stores―a one stop shopping experience combining toys, outdoor, baby, games, Lego, education and collectibles.
The store openings were celebrated with lots of giveaways, a grand opening sale as well as free events including a craft zone and character meet and greets. Brands on offer at the new stores include Marvel, Frozen, LEGO, NERF, Star Wars and many more.
“It’s been a hard few months and we are so excited to let the fun begin. We are bursting with excitement so we can celebrate with the locals and surprise and delight with our amazing pre-Christmas offering.”
More store openings are planned in the coming months including the largest toy store in Australia.
