Until awarded best stand at Melbourne Gift Fair
Years of hard work have paid off for distributor Until which won best stand (Showgrounds) at Reed Melbourne Gift Fair in early August.
According to one of the judges, Kathy Sheeran, merchandising, layout and good customer service made Until this year’s winner.
“Our team work hard to present quality, design-led gifts in a visually appealing way, and have made some big changes to our stand in recent years,” says marketing manager Michaela Stone. “It was rewarding to receive recognition for the changes we have made, and a positive start to our August trade fair.
“We were in a prominent location this fair, with a slightly different layout, which allowed us to reconfigure our tables for better movement through the stand.”
In recent years, Until’s stand size has increased along with its product range. “Most of what you see on the stand is custom made – it’s important to us that the stand enhances the product by being as fuss-free as possible.
“Our product mix is colourful, playful and oftentimes cheeky, so we want to create an environment where visitors feel invited to experiment with what’s on display. The overall feedback has been very positive, in relation to product mix, experience of the stand and our catalogue. We welcome feedback as it’s important to us to know what our customers want.”
Until’s most anticipated brand launch at the August trade fair was Gentlemen’s Hardware.
“The range fills what we see as a clear gap in the market for quality, affordable men’s gifts. This feedback was echoed by our customers,” says Stone.
