Vevoke launches new calendar range
Looking ahead to 2023, stationery and lifestyle products supplier Vevoke is launching its new calendar range featuring international and Aussie brands.
“We now represent the largest portfolio of calendars in Australia, with nine beautiful brands, seven from Europe, the New Yorker and our own Australian designed and printed range, Hello Sunday,” says Chris Dibley, partner at Vevoke.
“The international brands include the legendary teNeues (now called Neumann) and a wealth of French, Italian and German publishers. Around 1,400 titles across multiple formats and of course, diaries. We launched the Hello Sunday calendar collection three years ago and it is growing very quickly.”
Indeed, the Hello Sunday calendars, which are designed and printed in Australia, have some unique features such as eco-friendly embossed antique white paper, antique brass spiral binding and three distinct sizes including desk and large format medium and poster sizes.
Vevoke works with best-selling card artists including Niaski, Sacredbee, Quite Good as well as some very exclusive museums such as National Library of Australia, the V & A and Natural History Museum.
“If your store has a discerning, artistically orientated clientele then they will find great joy in this range. They include quite simply the most beautiful subjects, treatments, formats and styles in the world,” adds Dibley.
“Our vision is to provide our retail clients with ‘aesthetic nourishment’ and all our cards, stationery and lifestyle products fulfil this objective, so calendars are a natural fit for us. The breadth of subjects, artists and formats is breathtaking.”
While Covid has certainly been the catalyst for some serious cost, stock shortage and shipping challenges, Dibley is confident that we have seen the worst of these disruptions and he is looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring for Vevoke.
“Firstly, we have just launched our most exquisite ever Charity Christmas Card program, which is now produced on richly embossed and foiled matt paper with gold envelopes. Printed with soy and vegetable inks and featuring 24 new designs, mostly from Australian artists.
“Secondly, we have also just launched our own Museum Collections range of cards and wrapping paper. These feature many works from the V & A such as William Morris, William Kilburn, Oriental textile designs and Charles Voysey. They are printed here in Australia on superb embossed paper stock called Mohawk and also come with gold envelopes.
“And soon, after numerous production and logistical challenges, we will finally have the long promised Twigseeds fine bone china cups and organic cotton tote bags.”
