Villeroy & Boch is ending the year on a high with a string of awards for It’s my match tableware range and the Collier vase collection.
At the German Design Awards, It’s my match was awarded excellent product design in the tabletop category, while Collier received the same distinction in the home textiles and home accessories section.

The Red Dot Award: Product Design is an internationally recognised seal of quality for excellent design and is awarded every year by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein-Westfalen. This year It’s my match was crowned winner in the tableware category. After the award ceremony in July this year, the It’s my match collection was on display for five weeks at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany.
On top of these awards, It’s my match was also given the consumer award in the kitchen accessories category at the Kitchen Innovation of the Year Award 2019 for functionality, design and material quality.
“Both new collections have already proven popular in Australia, and in many other markets around the world. We are extremely honoured to have received numerous awards across multiple categories,” Colusso adds.
The fuss-free It’s my match trend collection was developed by young people for young people and consists of four multifunctional and versatile items―a bowl, serving bowl, mug and plate are available with three relief structures and in the on-trend colours of powder, green and white.
They can be combined in many different creative ways and thus offer everyone the opportunity to create their own look. The fine relief decorations of the Collier vase collection are inspired by opulent pearl necklaces and polished precious stones. Available in six different shapes, the vases are available with matt surfaces in black or white.
