Robins Kitchen enters voluntary administration
Robins Kitchen stores are expected to remain open until at least Christmas Eve after its directors announced they have appointed FTI Consulting as voluntary administrators.
The administrators are reviewing the financial status of the whole business of Robins Kitchen including potentially restructuring and selling the business or, in the alternative, an orderly wind down. Their preliminary view is that all stores will remain open until at least December 24.
“We acknowledge that the timing of voluntary administration so close to Christmas is going to create additional uncertainty for employees and customers, which is difficult and unfortunate for all. It is our intention to work with all parties in an effort to minimise this impact where possible,” says John Park, FTI Consulting.
Robins Kitchen operates 55 stores in Queensland (36), New South Wales (18) and the ACT (1). It has approximately 300 staff.
A telephone hotline has been established at 1800 307 717 for consumers and other stakeholders.
