As we gear up to celebrate 40 years of Australian Giftguide magazine we take a look back at some of the more memorable products to have graced our pages.
The 1980s were big on coloured or patterned shoe laces. This collection, called Showlaces, from Skansen Designs offered 40 styles including licensed characters such as Snoopy and Pac-Man as well as Australiana. They weren’t just for jazzing up your Converse All-Star high tops – they looked pretty choice as a headband too.
