Axis Toys is bringing Mindful Living to Aussie homes
After being approached by manufacturer Merchant Ambassador, Axis Toys has launched Mindful Living in Australia.
Having worked closely with the company for around 10 years on the WWF wooden games and puzzles, Axis Toys was the natural choice, says Axis Toys founder, Paula Opfer.
“It was an absolutely perfect fit with our current offering so it was an easy decision,” she says.
“We liked that it was a tight range with something for all ages to allow for interaction and communication.
“We were also able to contribute to the final development including the addition of a colouring-in element for the children’s puzzle to provide a further focal element for the child.”
The range has been designed to enhance, inspire and improve personal wellbeing for all ages and includes affirmation and mindfulness cards, two 72-piece puzzles with colouring-in sheets and two mandala 500 piece puzzles.
The images and graphics are vibrant, colourful and bold, designed to enhance and inspire play, creativity and wellness while building the skill of mindfulness.
“Mindfulness is the self-improvement practice that teaches you ways to focus on the present moment, while acknowledging and accepting your feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations. It promotes happiness, self-compassion, patience and helps you find inner peace within a busy world.
“The range has been carefully developed with mindful activities to empower and improve ones’ wellbeing while reducing stress and anxiety,” adds Opfer.
Mindful Living is the brainchild of Amber Pavey and Crystal Salamon who are both passionate about education, personal wellness and the power of creativity. As mothers and educators, they envisioned a line of mindfulness products that were unique, inspiring, educational and high-quality to be used at home or in the classroom to support wellness.
They wish to spread kindness, compassion and self-awareness around the world with these products.
“The range is meeting a very current need and demand. Our customers are looking for a mindful way to connect with their children and these products provide opportunities through communication, relaxation and as a project. The range, like the WWF collection, has been mindfully curated and is FSC Certified,” says Opfer.
The Mindfulness range is available now.
