William Valentine adds Thumbs Up! to its portfolio
William Valentine has secured exclusive distribution across Australia and New Zealand for the Thumps Up! brand.
Managing director, Ben Hall, says he has been a long-time admirer and consumer of Thumbs Up! products.
“When the opportunity to represent and distribute Thumbs Up! in Australia and New Zealand became available, it was an easy decision to make,” he enthuses.
“To quote their tag line, they are ‘anything but ordinary’.”
Since 2004, Thumbs Up! has been creating award-winning gifts, gadgets, retro gaming, barware, mugs and novelties and its best-selling licensed products can be found at major retailers around the world.
Hall believes Thumbs Up! will fit in well with William Valentine’s existing brands and offers additional variety for its retail customers.
“With strong and recognisable brands such as Atari, Original Stormtrooper and a range of games and novelties, it bolsters our product offer in tech, retro games and barware. We currently hold a wide range of licensed products from other brands, which ties in perfectly with the licensed Original Stormtrooper and Atari brands.
“As a company, we cover all levels of retro toys and gaming, ranging from 18 months old all the way through to adulthood. The Thumbs Up! retro gaming range is a perfect addition to this trend,” he adds.
William Valentine will be releasing a range of the brand’s best-sellers as well as many new items that will be launched for the first time.
“The Atari collection is new for 2024 including hand-held electronic games, wall art, an amazing whiskey decanter gift set and a drinking beer glass pack. This is all new for the Australian and New Zealand market.
“Original Stormtrooper has been a consistently popular license in Australia and New Zealand; some of the new 2024 release items include decanter gift sets, cheese boards, pizza boards and a multi-use cookie jar or terrarium.
“As a company, we are continuously adding new product lines and items that are released from our brands, therefore will continually keep the products in the market fresh and on-trend.”
