SodaStream reaffirms its commitment to sustainability with the introduction of the eco-conscious Recycled Black Terra.
The new Terra is made from 50 per cent post-industrial recycled plastic and is a conscious upgrade to SodaStream’s popular Terra model.
Combining innovative design with sustainability, this sparkling water maker offers consumers a stylish and environmentally friendly way to create personalised sparkling drinks at home while replacing single-use plastic, explains Holly Walker, marketing manager at SodaStream Australia.
“We are incredibly proud to be taking these significant steps towards a greener future,” she says.

“The Recycled Black Terra is designed to help replace over 1,000 single-use plastic bottles over a five-year period, helping to keep the planet healthy and clean for everyone. By choosing SodaStream, consumers can make a meaningful impact by replacing single-use plastics and enjoying their favourite sparkling beverages at home while supporting a positive future.”
Additionally, as part of SodaStream Australia’s sustainability journey, the company installed solar panels at its Melbourne HQ and warehouse, enabling the site to now operate fully on 100 per cent green energy.
This new commitment to green energy is part of the brand’s broader sustainability efforts including minimising carbon emissions throughout its production processes and making positive choices every day to make a difference for all, Walker adds.

“By integrating recycled materials into our products and now powering our headquarters with green energy, we’re not only contributing to a circular economy but also demonstrating that sustainability and innovation can go hand-in-hand.”
