One of Australia’s fastest-growing brands, Maison de Sabré, continues to expand as it taps into a new market with the launch of its latest collection.
Reimagining resortwear, the Raffia range pairs heritage handweaving techniques with DriTan full-grain leather.
“This collection represents more than just new materials—it’s a step toward fulfilling our purpose as a brand that travels with our community, wherever life takes them,” explains Omar Sabre, CEO and co-founder.

“As our customers’ lifestyles evolve, so do we, creating products that are not only beautiful, but built for movement, meaning and modern living.”
Each piece in the Raffia collection is handmade and woven from strands of naturally dried raffia palm leaf—sourced, sorted and constructed over months by specialist artisans.
The limited-edition bags come in three sizes and colourways including foam white, pecan brown and emerald green.

“This collection took over 70 days to produce and that’s just the weaving process, not including the time spent preparing and processing the natural raffia itself,” adds Sabre.
“There’s a reason these pieces are limited. The scarcity isn’t manufactured—it’s the result of true craftsmanship and a slower, more sustainable approach to luxury.”
Launching alongside the Raffia collection is the Sabrémoji fruit coin purse—a palm-sized spin-off of the brand’s fan-favourite Sabrémoji fruit charms, made entirely from repurposed leather offcuts from previous seasonal collections.

“For us, innovation isn’t just about product—it’s about systems, materials and supply chains. We’re designing for circularity, not just sales.”
Indeed, Maison de Sabré also achieves 85 per cent material utilisation, employs zero-waste production methods and has committed to being carbon offset by 2026.
“We’re not a heritage brand. We’re a future brand,” says Sabre.
