Annabel Trends finds a new home
Gift and homewares supplier Annabel Trends has moved into new warehouse and office facilities on the Gold Coast.
Managing director Sally Dunn says the new warehouse will enable the 47-year-old company to process orders even more efficiently – and move in a new direction.
“We’re so excited to be moving forward with this new chapter in our company’s history,” she says.
“We were busting at the seams… We moved to Queensland in 2006 to a large warehouse but pretty soon we had to several lease additional premises as we couldn’t fit all the stock in. It made sense to build our own. It is also difficult to find warehouse space on the Gold Coast that suited our needs in a location that we preferred.”
The new purpose-built facility, which boasts over 350 square metres of space and new state-of-the-art offices, has been painted an eye-catching pink.
“Pink is a colour that sells well for us in all categories. It seemed natural that it should be our signature colour… we love driving up to our new home… it’s bright, fun and sets us in a good mood for the day.”
While the new warehouse offers room to grow, Dunn says the company still needs to keep it within limits.
“We seem to grow our product range each year, but we really do need to limit the expansion as we don’t want to move again anytime soon.”
