Despite the pandemic and all the issues that came with it, Axis Toys has been expanding its portfolio including a recently signed distribution agreement with Natruba.
Its environmentally-friendly and sustainable range includes teethers, bath toys, balls and rattles made valve free to be ultra-hygienic.
Axis Toys co-founder, Paula Opfer, says Natruba was a perfect fit for the company’s eco ranges as its first all-natural rubber baby range.
“We felt that their fresh approach to the design while also being practical made them a baby essential,” she explains.
“Retailers are always wanting and needing a fresh addition to their offering and we feel that Natruba offers this in their botanical and animal offering as the interest to date has proven that’s the case.”
The launch of Natruba was inspired by founders Kasper and Line Lilholm daughter’s need to chew on everything. This encouraged them to make safe, natural, chemical-free toys because as they felt, ‘you shouldn’t have to worry about toys’, and this has become their mantra.
“We continuously challenge shapes, textures and functionality while never compromising safety and usability,” says Line, who is the company’s CEO.
“We love being innovative and to see our love of creating different yet elegant and fun toys for little ones are loved by not only us, but our customers as well.”
All toys in the range are designed with little hands in mind―they are lightweight, soft to touch and easy to hold. Also, design emphasis has been placed on hand-eye coordination, motor skill, sensory, cognitive skills development, and emotional development.
Tested to Australian and New Zealand standards from newborn, they are free of PVC, BPA, Phthalates, and Nitrosamines, thus making them a perfect and safe choice for children to play with and babies to soothe and chew on.
When asked why Line and her husband selected Axis Toys, she says they just really fell in love with the company’s philosophy.
