eeBoo’s entire range of children’s toy, craft and stationery products is now solely distributed by Bobangles in Australia after it approached the local wholesaler for representation.
The businesses had kept in touch since first meeting when eeBoo’s owner Mia was the designer of Mudpuppy, a label Bobangles also distributes.
Owner Catherine Shann says she was delighted to take on the brand, which she has been a long time fan of.
“eeBoo is much more craft orientated which is quite different from the other ranges we carry and the items are manufactured keeping the environment in mind, which is a policy of Bobangles also – so it was a perfect match for us,” she explains.
“We have a few big children’s ranges now – Mudpuppy… [and] Peaceable Kingdom. We have actually dropped a few of the smaller ranges we distributed to enable us to take on one as substantial as eeBoo.”
The latest products from eeBoo will be shown by Bobangles at the Sydney Gift Fair in February. It will launch the brand from scratch and add to it during the year.
Shann is expecting a good response from retailers. “Our pricing structure makes it far more affordable than ever before. We have already had many retailers asking us for more information about the range and they have shown excitement about the prospect of the size of the range we are going to be carrying.”
