Fair Events have taken over the management of the Brisbane Gift Fair, which is now known as Gift HQ.
Queensland’s only gift fair will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre from July 5 to 7, 2014.
“We have had a long association with the gift industry and we particularly love the Queensland market,” says Daniel Heather, Gift HQ event manager. “We could see real opportunities to try something different, there is no point doing what’s been done before, and we are all for making a difference.”
Gift HQ will feature a new format as well as an education and entertainment program with business tips and one-on-one meetings with industry experts.
“We have a number of new activities and focus areas planned for the fair, which as we approach the opening day will be revealed. The layout and general feel will be very different, but then we have spent a lot of time on making the retailer’s investment in time really count,” adds Heather.
“As of today we have more than 25 per cent new exhibitors from the 2013 fair. Our event will be a destination where in a few days you will see the total offering that could normally take three months or more.
“Smart retailing is being aware of the total offering to make informed decisions, minimising downtime out of the retail business and discovering what new opportunities exist to increase revenue – Gift HQ will have that offering.”
