Christian Hirth fine cashmere arrives in Australia
despite producing fine cashmere for the european market for more than 17 years, christian hirth’s wraps are now available in australia.
the david jones sydney and melbourne store exclusive is possible thanks to a new company formed by three sydney friends; festival programmer loretta busby, businesswoman prue kenny and associate chartered accountant ruth chan.
the 100 per cent cashmere wraps, made from yarn sourced from the underbelly of mongolian goats, come in 10 colours and are made to last a lifetime. each piece is packaged in a signature box with soft tissue and elegant ribbon.
“i love cashmere and wear it all the time,” says busby. “when we came across christian hirth cashmere we immediately fell in love with the quality and fabulous range of colour. it is simply gorgeous to wear. we knew we had to share this one with our friends at home.”
busby believes the product is perfect for mother’s day.
“mothers love being spoilt with a special gift on mother’s day. unraveling the ribbon on the gorgeous christian hirth gift box makes it all the more special and inside is a timeless and classic gift that mum won’t forget.”
a 10 per cent discount is available for the first 10 readers who purchase a cashmere wrap.
