While we are still in the middle of winter, Fabelab is already looking forward to summer with its latest collection.
The sustainable range features quilted blankets, outdoor games, bags and backpacks as well as sunhats and bonnets, and will be showcased at Kids Instyle by Axis Toys.
“Retailers will see a new collection that embraces summer so skillfully that it will excite them,” says Paula Opfer, founder of Axis Toys, distributor of Fabelab in Australia and New Zealand.
“Fabelab is a fun range. Stockists always smile when they talk about this range as it ticks all the boxes. This sustainable collection combines the Danish expertise of design and practicality.”
The brand’s quilted blankets featuring retro geometric designs are versatile for both indoor and outdoor use whether it be a picnic or to cuddle within.
The new organic cotton padded blanket range includes a Tic Tac Toe reversible blanket and comes with six small bean bags for noughts and crosses on one side and target practice on the back plus Fabelab’s take on the traditional fishing game, which makes it irresistible, adds Opfer.
“And to add to the mix there are wooden skipping ropes and skipping elastics. Timeless classics that are perfect for a little outdoor fun with family and friends.
“Two of the most obvious standouts are the Fabelab blankets and activity mats because of the amount of detail and aesthetic lifestyle appeal they carry, while their dress ups definitely bring a point of difference to the market in terms of both design and quality and sales have been excellent.”
Fabelab’s quilted bags are all made of 100 per cent organic cotton. “The bags are practical and on trend so perfect for everyday use or small getaways. The range covers all the essential needs and includes a toiletry bag, gym bag, tote bag and weekend bag, while Fabelab’s backpacks are perfect for pre-school beginnings and for small trips and adventures.”
Available in large and small, there are four designs to choose from. The backpacks’ outer and inner shell fabric is made from recycled post-consumer polyester. Thirty-seven recycled Coca Cola bottles have been used to produce the large backpack and 18 for the small backpack.
As an extra feature, Fabelab has added its mascot, a Bob the Bear keychain, to the backpack for a cute and playful twist and Axis Toys will be giving these keyrings away on its stand.
“We will also be showcasing Fabelab’s back to school range at Kids Instyle, which includes a PLA range of tableware, lunchboxes, sippy cups and coffee cups and some lovely new toddler books from Sassi. These new additions add to our 500 + strong new additions to our product ranging for 2022,” enthuses Opfer.
