tv, fashion and music personality dannii minogue has used twitter to declare her love for the woon idoll, spreading her appreciation to more than 600,000 followers.
the toy, stocked by online store and wholesaler rose & lily, has a soft exterior but comes with built-in speakers and an mp3 port hidden inside for safe cuddling to music.
director michele blanchard is excited to see that the doll, available in two designs pax and lulu, has struck such a chord with a popular celebrity.
“we were thrilled to see that dannii loves the woon idoll; her tweet confirmed all our expectations for this product, we’re certain today’s parents will see real emotional and practical appeal in these gorgeous dolls,” she says.
the fashion designer and mum to baby ethan posted a picture and tweeted, “out shopping today and found this cute doll that plays music from your ipod. great for hanging from the pram.”
blanchard believes the product is a great match for minogue given her experience as a pop star.
“it’s such a perfect fit. music is obviously very important to dannii and i imagine she would like to share her love of music with ethan. the woon idoll is a fabulous way for her to incorporate music into his day.”
minogue isn’t the only fan of the toy given rose & lily has sold out of its first stock load and has now set up a waiting list.
