eGift card company grows 230 per cent in the last 12 months
Covid-19 has accelerated the growth of eGift card favourite Prezzee over the past 12 months, growing 230 per cent compared to June 2020.
The company is also mindful of the environment and for every Prezzee Planet Smart eGift Card bought in June, it is donating to One Tree Planted, to help restore Australian native forests and wildlife habitats devastated by bushfires, making the world cleaner and greener. It also saved 170 metric tonnes of CO2 this year alone, which is equivalent to more than 20 million smartphones being charged.
“Everybody gets that sense of being part of a happy journey,” says Tony Karp, CEO of Prezzee.
“The recipient is happy, because of their experience, the sender is happy because it has been instant and painless and the environment is happy―clearly that’s a plus. Everybody wants to get gifted something, no one is ever going to say no to a gift card,” he says.
Prezzee is also expanding its portfolio significantly, adding 13 Australian retailers to its already impressive line-up.
Harris Farm Markets, entertainment enterprise, Village Roadshow and high street fashion brands Glassons and Culture Kings as well as Bridgeclimb, Star Car Wash, Beginning Boutique, Global Experiences, Hey You, Vitable, Minecraft, Riot (League of Legends) and The Fight Factory have all joined Prezzee.
Expanding its New Zealand retailer network, Prezzee welcomed Sephora, Peter Alexander, Portmans, Dotti, Jay Jays, Just Jeans, Smiggle, Mighty Ape, Travello and Global Experiences, to its growing offering.
“Our retailers are what defines us as a company and nurturing these relationships are paramount to me,” says Karp.
“I am thrilled to welcome such well-known household brands into the Prezzee fold and I look forward to working with our retailers for many years to come, reconnecting Aussie shoppers with the joy of gifting.”
Prezzee now has offices in Australia, US, UK and New Zealand and is looking to expand and grow even further.
